Please take note of the Summer Reading assignments:

Incoming freshmen must read The Life of Pi by Yann Martel.

Those who will be juniors must read Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.

On the first day of class, you will be expected to bring your required reading book, at least 3 pages of notes on your book, and a poem by an established poet relating to a theme of the required reading.

Return all textbooks & vocab books tomorrow!

The fine for failing to return a textbook is $50!
