Happy Thanksgiving! Don't forget your book reports are due on Monday, Dec 2, the day we come back from vacation.

No homework due Mon, 11/25. Work on book reports due Mon, 12/2. (That's the Monday that we come back from the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend!)

On Friday, 11/22, we will be taking the Language Arts Assessment in class. It is a mini-GEPA practice test featuring a Picture Prompt, a narrative text to read and answer multiple choice questions and open-ended questions, and some sentences to revise and edit.

Homework due Thursday, 11/21: Complete Check Your Comprehension and Critical Thinking questions on p. 491 of the Literature book; study for quiz on this week's PODs and "The Speckled Band."

Homework due Wednesday, 11/20: Read "The Speckled Band" to the top of p. 488. I will check homework tomorrow in class. Be prepared to answer questions about what you read.

Homework due Tues, 11/19: Re-write persuasive essay on banning video games.

No homework due Mon, 11/18. Homework for the weekend: begin reading for book report due 12/2.

Homework due Fri, 11/15 -- Get December book report letter signed.

Homework due Wed 11/13 (or the next time we meet after our field trip) -- GEPA practice books -- Year Round Schools open ended questions.
